Logo design of the week

I made this owl for a logo sample that was finally not retained by the company I made it for - they are developing an intelligent search engine based on visual datas instead of words. For some reason, they preferred a plain (should I say boring) logotype (no symbol) in primary colors. 

I still like my little guy, and I thought I could post a picture here so he can be seen at least once in his life :).
