Today, in the morning, I was alone. A-L-O-N-E. I couldn't believe it. Kids were gone to school. Youssef full time, Ismael part-time (2 mornings a week). I realized I was breathing. Litterally. I noticed taking a deep breath of the crisp morning air while coming back from waiting for the school bus. Breathing. That is so good. Should do that more often.

I felt free, and didn't want to have something in particular to do. I let my legs (and my heart) lead me where they wanted to. I wasn't surprise to find myself in the workshop soon after. Sun shining, I opened the curtain to let it in. I noticed that I was breathing, again. Wow! Two times in a day, that is unusual!

I had two light switch plates that were left just plainly painted so I decided to finish them. I had fun. I had time. I had silence. I also had some stuff to photograph for my shop. I took 100 000 photos. I had fun. I had time. I had plenty of time.

Ismael came back, I was so glad to see him. He was smiling, he was happy. And so was I. Thanks God, downs don't last eternally.

I love it, but how do you stick it on the wall?

You screw it on! There are holes at the right place for screws (you can us the ones already in place). It replaces exactly the usual boring plastic switch plates that we have.

Mmm, so lovely. Adore the blue.

There's something magical about being able to create in peace, isn't there? My little BubbleToes keeps me on MY toes so much I can hardly ever do anything for myself for more than a couple of minutes. Forget about making something in one shot, I can't even find the time to take pictures (non-abysmal ones) of things I do end up making.

On the other hand, I enjoy her so much I can barely tear myself away...but it's a LOT of work...

I love your stuff.

So glad you're back in the groove.
