Sketching and my new color combo

I started to sketch yesterday, sitting on the front porch, watching the kids playing frisbee in the small park on the other side of the street. Something I haven't done for a while. I forgot how much I like to just let my hand go and build something upon nothing. I made a small circle in the middle and it became that henna-esk flower. I liked it so much, I decided to paint it on a wooden box.

I experienced a new color combo today after a friend of mine requested an item with these two colors: fuschia and orange. Not only I used it for her custom order but I decided to paint 2 boxes with the same combo, one of which will have the sketched flower on it. So! I spent most of my day drawing and painting. Aaaah... How I like days like this!
